Lohas Fertiliser takes to the stage at Horizon Europe: Showcasing a fertiliser revolution

Our very own Carlos and Lian proudly represented Lohas Fertiliser on the European stage at Horizon Europe in Poland – and what a weekend it was!

Sharing the Future of Farming with Europe

Horizon Europe is the EU’s flagship research and innovation programme tackling climate change, driving sustainability, and fostering innovation. This year, Lohas presented NutriCycleX, our project to demonstrate, deploy and upscale circular farming solutions across European cities and regions.

Our patented enzyme-fermentation technology transforms organic waste—food waste, green waste, and poultry manure—into premium, sustainable fertiliser, reducing emissions and environmental impacts.

♻️ Scalable Circular Solutions

From urban food waste in cities like London to poultry manure in regions like the Wye Valley, Lohas offers a proven, scalable model for nutrient recovery and circular farming.

Our approach directly supports the European Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP) by:

  • Cutting GHG emissions and improving air quality
  • Enhancing soil health and biodiversity
  • Enabling replication across cities and regions
  • Fostering collaboration across farming, industry, and policy

Already successful in the UK, Lohas is now seeking three flagship demonstration projects and six replication partners across Europe to adopt and scale our circular model.

Building Connections for a Greener Tomorrow

At Horizon Europe, our team sparked exciting discussions with researchers, innovators, and policymakers eager for new approaches to sustainable farming.

We already have the technology to recycle waste and restore soils we just need to scale it, said Carlos.

Join the Fertiliser Revolution

Lohas is inviting all the stakeholders from cities, councils, and regions with challenges on various waste streams to collaborate on EU-funded pilots and partnerships that deliver real environmental and economic benefits.
